Apple has published three vacancies for engineers, who can work on the antennas of the iPhone and iPad, which as you Wanted: Engineers who can fix iPhone 4 Antenna Issuesknow are presently creating problems for the company due to poor reception.

Apple is facing criticism from every quarter for iPhone 4 antenna reception problems and also for its iPad tablet computer. The Cupertino-based firm has posted openings on its website for jobs described as “Antenna Engineer-iPad/iPhone.”

The posts are dated June 23 and the job description says: “Candidates should be able to design antennas suitable for wireless handheld devices with excellent radiation performance.” The iPhone 4 went on sale from June 24 and since then the customers are complaining that the smartphone loses signal when held in certain ways.

It is believed that the reception gets affected due to some problem with the antenna of the phone.

Last week, Apple had said that some loss of reception is common when gripping any wireless device and the company suggested the iPhone 4 users to avoid gripping the phone “in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band” or they buy one of several cases being marketed for the device.
