Three out of five (60%) adult Filipinos believe the testimony of Rodolfo Noel “Jun” Lozada, Jr. that he was made to leave the country by some government officials to avoid testifying in the Senate ZTE probe, according to the First Quarter 2008 Social Weather Survey, fielded over March 28-31, 2008.

According to the survey, 58% believe Lozada’s statement that, upon his arrival from Hong Kong, he was picked up and driven around by unknown men against his will, and 54% believe his statement that former COMELEC Chairman Benjamin Abalos asked for a $130 million dollar bribe from ZTE.
