Actor Morgan Freeman was hospitalized due to a car accident on Monday.

Freeman was driving in an off country road at Mississippi Delta then suddenly an accident occured that made the vehicle rolled over several times.

The accident causes a broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage.

Freeman was brought late Sunday night to Memphis, Tennessee hospital – 160 kms. from the accident area. The actor would undergo surgery this Tuesday. According to Kathy Stringer – Spokeswoman of Regional Medical Centre in Memphis, Freeman’s condition is serious but gave no further details.

Police said that the possible cause of accident is due to the usage of alcohol or drugs that causes the driver to fell asleep while driving.
