Microsoft drops price of 20GB Xbox 360
Price cut-off for 20GB Xbox 360 - Microsoft.
According to media reports, Microsoft finally announced the long-anticipated price cut for the standard 20GB Xbox 360, bringing it less by 50 U.S. dollars to 300 dollars.
In addition, the new 60GB Xbox 360, similar to the 20GB version but triple the storage, is due for launch next month and priced at 350 dollars.
Albert Penello - Xbox product management director of Microsoft said that:
We know consumers need more and more space to store the amazing digital content Xbox 360 offers, and we’re giving it to them at no extra charge. No one device offers the depth and breadth of entertainment that Xbox 360 can deliver, and now you’ll have three times the storage to manage all that great content.
Currently, there are no signs of price drop from Sony and Nintendo - competitors of Xbox.
