Kobe Bryant - NBA 2007-08 MVP

The winner of 2007-08 MVP is Kobe Bryant of Los Angeles Lakers who received

a Maurice Podoloff Trophy announce by NBA today.

Bryant is an 11-year NBA veteran totaled 1,105 points, including 82 first place votes, from a panel of 126 sportswriters and broadcasters from United States and Canada. Players who received first-place vote awarded 10 points, seven points for second-place, five points for third, three points for fourth and one for the fifth-place vote.

Kia Motors will donate a brand-new 2009 Kia Borrego seven-passenger SUV as part of its support to the MVP player award on behalf of Kobe Bryant to the East Los Angeles Boys and Girls Club.

The top five in voting for this season’s MVP award were Chris Paul-Hornets (889 points, Kevin Garnett-Boston (670 points) LeBron James-Cavs (438 points) and Dwight Howard-Magic (60 points).

Kobe Bryant is the youngest player in NBA history to score 20,000 points and 16th player in nba histsory to tally 21,000 points and 4,000 assists.
