Increase two-way air flights between Philippines and Netherlands

Because of the growing demand from overseas Filipino workers and tourist, the Philippines and Netherlands increased its air flights.
Leandro Mendoza – Secretary of Transport (Philippines) said that the new air services agreement with Netherlands will also open the skies futher, especially at Clark International airport.
KLM Royal – Dutch Airlines based in The Netherlands is only European airline to fly from Philippines to Europe. Accordint to the report, the new air services agreement provides seven Manila-Amsterdam flights per week; seven Clark-Amsterdam flights; and another seven to be distributed among the country’s other international airports.
A data survey from the Department of Tourism showed that the traffic between Manila and Amsterdam has been significantly increasing from a two-way volume of 186,504 in 2005 to 208,255 in 2006 and 212,078 in 2007.
