Globe Telecom - the first in Asia to carry Apple’s iPhone

Globe’s website announced that they’ve signed an agreement with Apple together with SingtTel, Bharti Airtel and Optus to bring iPhone to the Philippines, Singapore, India, and Australia.
The iPhone may be launched in the fourth quarter of 2008 according from a source from Globe.
iPhone is a combination phone, music player and Web browser that was launched in the US in 2007.
