Britney Spears runs into Justin Timberlake: Kiss my ‘Sex and the City’?

No one likes running into one’s ex-boyfriend with his hot new girlfriend.

Especially when one is not looking –- how can we put this –- one’s best.

But that’s just what happened to Britney Spears at the small, intimate Yatai Asian Tapas Bar in West Hollywood on Monday night.

Who else was there but her ex, Justin Timberlake, having a cozy late-night dinner with Jessica Biel around 10 p.m. when Spears walked through the door with her mom, Lynne .

“Jessica looked gorgeous,” but Spears “didn’t look the best, but she probably thought no one would see her, as this restaurant isn’t usually a hot spot,” Us quotes an onlooker as saying.

“Jessica and Justin looked to be slumping down in their seats to avoid [Spears]. She left 30 minutes later,” another source tells Us. “Shortly afterward, Justin and Jessica got in their car and left.”

The only thing worse would have been if Cameron Diaz stopped by too.

But maybe Britney will have the last laugh. Especially if the rumors about her starring in the new “Sex and the City” movie as a relative of Carrie Bradshaw’s who moves to the Big Apple.

“My idea is to have someone like Britney move to New York as my cousin or niece and Carrie would show her the ropes,” SJP reportedly told a group of friends.
