Senior Correspondent of ABS-CBN Ces Drilon, cameraman Jimmy Encarnacion and MSU professor Octavio Dinampo are finally released by their captors at 11 p.m. Tuesday - June 17, 2008.

The three kidnapped victims were fetched by Jun Isnaji with four police escort at Sitio Danasi, lower Sinumaan, Talipao, Sulu and brought to the house of Mayor Alvarez Isnaji.

According to Police Dir. Gen. Avelino Razon, Ces Drilon and her two comapnions are in good condition but must be given immediate medical attention. He also added that the three will undergo debriefing in Zamboanga City before flying back to Manila.

On June 16, the kidnappers are asking for Php 15 million ransom for the freedom of three captives and must be given in noontime of June 17. They also post a threat to behead one of their captives if theres no ransom given, but after noontime, they gave an indefinite deadline.

Last June 12, Valderama - one of the kidnapped victims was released after paying Php 2 million to the kidnappers for board and lodging. But for the relased of Cess and her two companions, Gen. Razon said that no ransom payment are made or given to the kidnappers.
