Strong Earthquake in Batanes
July 13, Sunday - A magnitude 6 earthquake was hardly felt in Batanes area.
The strong quake hits at 10:58 p.m. in the northern part of Batanes province and a report from Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology showed that no one was hurt and no property damaged in the province.
The center of earthquake was located at 113 kilometers of northwest of Basco. An intensity 2 was felt in Itbayat island in Batanes.
