Remittance Service Partnership by Globe and Western Union

Globe’s President for mobile commerce arm G-Xchange Inc. - Rizza Eala said about their partnership with Western Union in providing the World’s first cardless and real-time mobile phone remittance service at affordable fees.

The world’s largest money transfer network for sending and receiving money will have a pilot remittance from Hawaii to the Philippines. The new remittance service which involves the use of mobile technology through G-Exchange’s virtual wallet - GCASH.

Ms. Eala also added that the services offered by GCASH and Wesetern Union is much cheaper that the sender can remit money thrice at a cheaper charge - the new service will only charge USD 4.50 per transaction compare to USD 15 to 20 current fees charged by other remittance companies.
