One Billion Dollar Microchip Plant to be Build in Clark by Samsung Electronics
Samsung - One of the leader in electronics will invest $1 Billion to build a microchip manufacturing plant in a 30 hectare of land in Clark Special Economic Zone. Samsung will start the construction within this year - according to a reliable source from Subic Clark Alliance Development Council.

Currently, Samsung has two operations here in the Philippines - the first one is Samsung Manufacturing Corp. (SEPHIL) located in Calamba Premier International Park that produces optical disc drives for its global network and the second one is Samsung Electronics Phils. Corp (SEPCO) that serves as local marketing arm for finished products.
The new electronic plant will provide more jobs for the Filipinos and boost the economic zone as hub for electronics chipmaking in Clark.
