Ces Drilon of ABS-CBN and two crew - abducted
Ces Drilon of ABS-CBN news and two of her crew were abducted while covering a story in the southern province of Sulu by an armed men suspected to be an Abu Sayyaf Group according to police officials.

ABS-CBN said in a statement that Drilon, Jimmy Encarnacion and Angelo Valderama were “missing in Sulu” and “all possible efforts are underway to find them and bring them home.”
According to Chief Superintendent Joel Goltiao, regional police directory of ARMM in Mindanao that Drilon and two of her crew members were intercepted Sunday in Maimbung - township in Sulu, capital Jolo by armed men under the leadership of Albader Parad - an Abu Sayyaf leader in the said area.
