‘Beast of Kandahar’ used by US Air Force for Surveillance

United States Air Force admitted that they used a stealth unmanned aircraft or drone for investigation and surveillance.

Beast of Kandahar used by US Air Force for SurveillanceThe ‘Beast of Kandahar’ is flown by the 30th Reconnaissance Squadron out of Tonopah Test Range in Nevada – under the Air Combat Command’s 432nd Wing at Creech Air Base.

Lockheed Martin developed the unmanned aircraft also known as ‘RQ-170’ which is part of their Advanced Development Programs and this is also in line with the request of Defense Secretary Robert Gates to expand the fleet of unmanned aircraft for more intelligence and surveillance resources.

With the use of Predator and Reaper drones, the United Stated carried out a wide-range of bombing operations against Al-Qaeda in Pakistan.
